#GuysWardrobe: Camou Prints

Okay, maybe I should give it a shot at doing a "fashion" post first cause I've quite a number of friends asking me on opinions how to incorporate an camou print into their outfits. Most of them thinks that camo is too loud, and they have difficulties convincing themselves that they will look good in it and the only number 4 they need is the SAF uniform so here's a my little opinion on how you can wear your camo and hopefully it will help give you a better insight! :)

When you think about camo prints, your mind probably wonders to the military NSFs. But camouflage is actually a quite versatile style that can be worn with a variety of apparels that will have you coming off looking great. As guys are opening up their wardrobe to welcome all the different types of prints, camo is no denying as one of the up and raising trend in mens fashion.
Of course it all depends what it is you are wearing that is camo. You will obviously wear different garments with short, pants, and shirts that are sporting the camouflage pattern. Here is a list of how you can tackle the camouflage look no matter what kind of camouflage garment you are wearing:
•    Camo shirts: If you are fond of wearing camo shirts them you need to get yourself some cargo pants or slim chinos. Cargo pants complement the look of a camo shirt very nicely and you can go with a couple of different colors too. Black will probably look the best but if that is not your style you can also go with a darker color green or sometihng neutral like cream/khaki. Another option for camo shirts is a nice pair of blue jeans. The jeans can be any dark color you prefer and as long as it's not too light in the color you should be alright.
•    Camo Jackets: One thing about jackets is that they are super hot and the weather in Singapore certainly doesn't make it any easier for one to don one. However, Camo jacket is always a good choice of outer to add some playfulness in your plain outfits. Guys who are more confident can also mix with other print shirts such as floral or plaids as long as neither pattern is too eye-catching or brightly colored. Trust me, you want to look street-style cool, not a walking hot mess.
•    Camo shorts: Camo shorts are being seen more and more these days and they too can be paired with a couple of different things. A black short sleeved t-shirt will look great with camo shorts and if you want to you can even wear a Polo style black collared shirt. If you are simply looking for an ultra-casual look you can always go with a black tank top.
•    Camo pants: Camo pants look good with a black or other dark colored t-shirt or a black or other dark colored long/short sleeved shirt. If your camo pants is a bit on the baggy side then stay away from shirts that have collars as they look a little too dressy for the camo pants. Otherwise, slim fitting camo pants do go well with dark colored or white plain tops.
•    Shoes: The type of shoes you will want to go with will depend on what it is you are wearing that is camo. With camo shirts you can wear boots if you are wearing longer pants. If you are wearing camo shorts, you can get away with a dark colored sneaker/shoes or even flip-flops if you are simply going casual. Just go simple with your footwear, you dont need a fully studded bling shoe to show others youre cool. Camo pants go perfectly well with boots(eg, Dr Martens, Red Wings, Palladium or any other combat boots) .
•    Hats: If you are wearing camo pants or shorts you can cover your head with a camo hat as well. However, if you are wearing a camo shirt, then you will want to avoid a camo hat and just go with a dark colored hat as the hat and the shirt being camo will not be offset by anything the way a solid dark shirt will offset camo pants and a camo hat.

Here are some camo outfits I found online(Credits to google):

Hey there!

This blog has been around for a number of years, way before blogger began using google account for login(yes that old), but I had to archive the old posts cause everything posted previously was too personal and depressing I might say. Was browsing thru the archives, looking back seems so far away. Am glad I didn't delete them in the past, at least I still get to reminisce the past and miss the old foolish me.

Kinda triggered my motivation to start blog again after read an article on thought catalog about the things I ought to stop doing to myself. Not gonna lie that I'm still guilty of many of the things listed. Am I upset? Not really, maybe a little. It's mostly regrets about the things I ought to do and stop doing. Won't try t go further and explain how I feel cause I suck at putting my feelings into words so here's the link, go read it and reflect upon yourself. I figured I will want t feel good about my 20s when I'm older so I'm keeping up with blogging.
The article said something like "yolo, take more unnecessary photos", & I took it up to myself and shamelessly define them as selfies so I'm taking up their advice but I don't think people on Instagram will really like t see my stupid face and the yummy food they can't have so I figured this will be a better alternative to offload my shameless selfies and yummy foodporn with feeling guilty as charged (yayyy *insert 3 cheers*).

Anyway, I'm back at this space, please pardon all the grammar mistakes and poor sentence structure cause in not a very language kinda person.
Hopefully my enthusiasm will last me! Till next time! 😘😘😘
